This is a meticulously curated and thoroughly researched database of more than 60 of the best indie bookstores in Maine. You can find other lists of Maine bookstores online, but they're incomplete, often out of date, and don't include everything in this directory, which gives you the bookstore, city/town, public email, bookstore owner/contact, and store preferences/notes, along with a customizable field for your own Author's Notes.
